晴れ渡った青空を思わせる、明るく澄んだ青色。 中国の宋の時代、青磁の釉薬「天青釉」の色として有名で、その繊細で透明感のある淡青は「空の青」を閉じ込めたようだと称えらてきた。 日本では清浄さや静けさを象徴する色として用いられ、染料は藍と蘇芳を使い染められている。 Tensei is a bright, clear blue reminiscent of a cloudless azure sky.
