Noji sumire

Nojisumire is a perennial herb native to Japan. Like the violet, it can be seen on roadsides, and its similarity in appearance makes it difficult to distinguish. Nojisumire is slightly paler than violet, has less conspicuous leaf wings and no hairs on the side petals... There are several points of distinction, although there are exceptions. The name comes from the violets that bloom on wild roads, as the name suggests. The word "Difficult" in the language of flowers is said to have been given because the edges of the petals are often wavy. However, it also has a flower language typical of violets, "small happiness. ノジスミレは日本在来の多年草。 「スミレ」と同じく道端などで見ることが出来、姿かたちも似ていることから判別が難しい場合がある。 ノジスミレはスミレよりは若干紫が薄く、葉の翼がスミレより目立たず側弁に毛がないなど… 例外はありますが幾つかの見分けポイントがある。 名前の由来はその名の通り、野の道で咲くスミレから来ている。 花言葉の「気難しい」は花弁の縁が波打つことが多いから付けられたそう。 しかし「小さな幸せ」というスミレらしい花言葉もある。
