"Don't Leave Me !!" is all about my artworks that's been hanging around on my computer, unfinished and kind of ignored for way too long. It's like capturing the feeling of something not quite done and waiting for its moment to shine. Joseon Ladies : SAGE
This special series features beautiful girls in various kind of Korean traditional oversized hairstyles from the Joseon Dynasty. Each of them in traditional hanbok. These kinds of hairstyle carry their own symbolism like as protection from evil influences and also to portray marital and wealth status. The artwork is an experimental attempt by the artist to combine both traditional (hand drawn inking) as preliminary drawing stage and post-produced with digital rendering. The flowers included are to emphasize the elegance and femininity exudes by the ladies. Immense level of details is put in both the flowers and the portraits. These 5 portraits also are part of artist’s personal 100 heads challenge, they are heads number 85-90 out of 100.

There is the lore of mistress of darkness, telling from time to time. She once was a young beautiful little girl who lives her life in a family of magician. She's such truly kind heart.. as sweet as nectar... but one day that innocent heart will be corrupted and she will be devour into the end endless abyss. High expectation from her parents killing her slowly without the girl herself noticing this fact. It's the beginning of unforgiven disaster... As time passed by the girl hunger for more power. She need to getting stronger, and not even care if she's walking or the right or wrong path. All she ever need is just to proving herself to her family that she's powerful and their expectation is never too high for her to archive. But no... it's never enough... Darkness started to taken over her mind and heart. When it's come to her realization it's already too late to turning back.
