Astonishment, that quality of intelligence that succumbs to the beauty of a message from nature and becomes a question about wonder, allowed the native peoples, naturally contemplative, to reach the real vision of a cosmos in accordance with a law based on harmony between the parts and the whole. The supreme teaching is to reveal to us that in this dual nature of creation and destruction there is an axis that harmonizes the opposites, that unites heaven and earth, spirit and matter.
